Extending the T
T o spread the legs of the tripod, push the r adial leg braces in a
ard motion and the tripod legs in an outward motion until
the tripod has reached maximum leg spread
T o extend the tripod legs, release the tab on one of the quick
lever leg locks
, and slide the leg to a desir ed length. Push the tab
quick lever leg lock back down, securing the leg in plac e.
Repeat this process f
or the remaining leg locking levers to achieve
your desired heigh
t. If the ground is not even, the legs can be
extended to diﬀer
Y ou can also adjust the height of y our tripod by raising the gear
enter column . F irst, loosen the center c olumn locking
to unlock the geared center c olumn of the tripod. Flip the
to a proper cranking position, and rotat e the gear
handle until the geared cen
ter column reaches a desired height .
Then twist the
center c olumn lock ing knob until tight.
Attaching the Camera t
o the T ripod

Tighten the camera screw
until the platform is snug to the base of the camer

ing on the camera. Replace the platf
orm with the mounted
camera back onto the panhead in the original position and r

. F ailure t o completely relock the platf orm can
cause the camera to loosen from the t
op of the panhead.
Operating the Panhead
or horizontal panning, loosen the pan locking knob, which will
allow the panhead to mov
e left or right horizontally . Tighten the
pan locking k
nob to secure a horizontal position.
T o tilt the panhead up or down, loosen the tilt locking knob.

mounted without locking the panhead into position.
